2 more days to sch reopen and i havnt finish my MR tutorial.planned to do today, but then jas jio qiuyan and me to jp then to marina square. bought 2 pairs of ear rings and a tee. This time, the 3 items only cost me $14. i shou lian le hen duo. saw lots of pushcart with pretty ear rings. i told qiuyan to pull me away and give me 2 tight slap if i walked near any of the pushcarts


jas bought 8 hairclips @ $8 each, discounted to $40+.... i still canut believe it man! i dont think she can clip until so nice like the china girl helped her to do her hairdo.... tads impulsive sales.... i pity jas, hav long hair, caused a big hole to be burnt in her pocket....

went to IBMEC for my s2006 basic info and service training for the upcoming IMF testerday. quite interesting cos we were showed video on what is the correct way to serve... and the different scenes for negative service attitudes were funi...


we went through the so called psychology test, the paradigm. and learnt how to use both sides of our brains instead of the usual, female, their right, and men, their left... cool... and we even realised that men were created for their strength only (cos research has shown that female are more clever compared to men( our trainer, tommy said his wife is clever cos she had chosen him).... hahaha... tommy, who also taught psychology jokingly told us that our memory is stored @ e back of our brains... if one person hit on his hind brain, memory loss. so if hit on the sides??? more memory??? hahaha... funi man.


best part is the refreshments (have been eating and eating gd food there are even teabreaks and high tea...). Quite like hotel, not with disposable plates, and even the cups were mugs, with the name of the school printed. We were all given a cert (and only my group's trainer, tommy, gave ferrero rocher to all his students... the rest of the other teams in other rooms did not get it!!! wahaha)


Even though it was a 9 to 6 course, it was interesting and informative course !!! i enjoyed it!!!!

I don't believe i actually stayed up till this hour to do my report... sometimes i really want to bow down to my determination... but sometimes i can just give up easily... aiyoyo... y i so liddat??? i havnt finish my report, here i am blogging... but staying up @ this hr to do work is ald an achievement liao... so i am v happy with myself. ppl now stayed up, sacrificing their sleep for world cup, but i stayed up to do report... zhen shi tong ren bu tong ming. chatted with kee siong few days back he complaint that he had became a zombie liao (and still is)... aiyah... blame who? u choose to take this route urself wad...


yeah!!! i am so hapi!!! steven lim did not get into top 3 of yong bu yan bai !!! If mmay had watched the result show, maybe she go pong piah straight away... xue hua got third! yeah!!! good for her she really acted v well ! N my fav, rong ming, first positon... ole,ole,ole... guess he will be taking up the role of an ah beng in his first drama...

x-men: The last stand

X-Men: The last stand

Went jp to watch X-men with jo,linda,foongmun. under normal circumstances, unrealistic shows like this, i will not watch. it is just like wasting $$$ to watch power rangers live in action... wadever it is, just not my cup of milo. But i wanted to watch x-men cuz reviews said that it is one of the must-watch. so my movie marathon comprises of the trilogy-- The da vinci code, over the hedge and x-men.


X-men is fantastic even though i did not even watch any of the other 2 parts of the trilogy of x-men. good visuals, exciting storyline, fantastic costumes,humour is injected with success. I especially like the part where magneto moved the red bridge. IT WAS SO COOL!!! that was the part where my eyes open big big and sit up straight straight.


Some analysis of the characters:

• professor charles: botak, sit on the wheel chair, died in such a sad situation. a key icon, but the disapperance was too sudden. (ratings 3 stars)
• storm: nice hair, like her eyes where hailing for a storm, powerful but yet useless (ratings 2.5 stars)
• scott: have the looks, wear sunglasses all the way, when finally took off the sunglasses to reveal pretty eyes, time to die. duno wads he there for... (ratings... erm.... flunked completely)
• jean: reminds me of a character in desperate housewives. not only b'cos she looks like a character, her desperado actions is similar. like the scene where her hair seemed like burning. glad she is killed!!! her death saved the earth and the US president's head and face. iconic figure. (ratings 4 stars)
• fur ball: .... nth good and significant to say... look just like some bad guys in power rangers... shall not comment on him
• MAGNETO: GOOD POWERS, STRONG, ABLE TO MOVE A BRIDGE,ABLE TO MAKE ME SIT UP, EVEN THOUGH KANA VACCINE, STILL HAVE POWERS... (RATINGS 100 STARS) I LOVE HIM!!! HE IS EVEN BETTER THAN ALL SINGAPORE IDOLS,SUPERSTARS,SUPERBAND ADD TOGETHER!!!

*ps: mutation is scary, but yet fascinating. (if i can have powers to get full marks in all tests & exams w/o the need to write anything, i dun mind getting mutated. just dun give me ugly heads like teenage mutant ninja turtles)

Went orchard with linda,may,jo. was so enthu, cuz i thought i could buy a lot of things cuz i hav takashimaya vouchers. but din get to buy anything -- no handphone strap of the right length...still can remember what may said (i duno if she wanted me to hear it or she was just murmuring to herself) she said, "huh? like tad still not long enuff arh?" hahahah... thought of replying to her," my dear may, tis is TOO LONG liao"


so proud to buy a box of hello kitty cookie for $1.90 and a box of chocolate. when i reach home, mummy heard the sound of plastic bag while i opened the door. her voice was heard, saying wow! you bought something ( woah!!! you mai dong xi leh) then the first thing i said to my mummy and papa was," hey ppl!!! i went to orchard to buy cookies". papa said the cookies were nice. but mummy and i thought that it was it might be unsold goods selling cheap.


Was waiting for the traffic light and there was a troupe performing belly dance. i found it rather hilarious to performing just next to the busy crossroad. was thinking to myself that that it would be funi if someone had miss the green light just to watch the show. but in the end, i was the one missing the greenman, linda had to call me to cross the road.......
and nearly forgot the uncle who gave us the leaflet... (bu xi huan, bu yao luan diu hor... du shu hao... juo gong ye hao...) i shall not elaborate o tis. tis is rather sensitive......

slack my way through the whole evening at home after the orchard trip. planned to do my pth project but slept my way through... then blog... then will go watch kang xi lai le ( my fav entertainment)


*PS: may was forcing me to go to steven lim's blog atm when i was typing tis.... MYGOD!!! SHE'S TRYING TO SHAKE MY DETERMINATION.... "NO MEANS NO" WERE THE WORDS FOR HER.....

duty and world cup

Was on duty @ North counter when Rashidah told me that jielong saw felicia chin @ his south counter. she even smiled at him. Being a despotic man, he looked up and down for her in the transit even the nike shop, just to take a second look. Then he walkie us in a sad and disappointed voice, " i canut find her... i canut find her..." rashidah and me burst out laughing infront of so many pax. When we were back in our cya room, he told everyone. nobody believed him. then he turned to me and said,"jiamin, u must believe me.". My reply, " i believe you jielong... i believe that she smiled at you cuz she thinks that it was so funi to see a clown in transit...."


went back home in time for the world cup kickoff. watched with papa while eating hamburger. watched till halftime only, but i was so happy when costa rica scored their first goal :)

china trip

Jiamin, congrats. you are selected for the china trip !!! i thought i din have the chance to go cuz i was not asked to go for the interview. but to my surprise, i got selected!!! from the past 1 yr + in SP, this is a trip that most interest me. (another was the trip to dubai last yr... papa dun allow me to go... haiz... sadded) I can imagine how fun it is to go overseas with mrs chua, my fav fav tutor and some of my other friends (i think about 5 of them also got in) to macau, HK disneyland, guangzhou, etc... i look forward to aug 27 !!!


Another major event for me will be the IMF function in sep. even though i will have to wear blazer with thick paddings and skirt, have to wake up early, have to stand in the transit (hope is T2) for 8hrs, i dun mind. for the experience and $$$$... i will take up the challenge.


life will be exciting and fun @ the end of the yr. (exams not included)

people and my thoughts

okay... i know that i should not pin point on other ppl's weakness, but i really want to blog this... just to share my joy... (i am being sacastic... should i shed some crocodile's tears?)

• On my way to sch on bus no 157, i saw a bucktoothed guy sitting. i were the only one standing, so i can see very clearly. He was really neatly dressed... ahem... in an obiang style. he was reading a comic and SMILING to HIMSELF. then suddenly laugh out with a HEE...HEE...HEE... sound. all the while, i was trying not to laugh. my head was dropping lower and lower cuz i canut control myself. i really had to steal a laugh... what was funniest was that the ah mah sitting just opposite him looked at him and showed the SIAO DA BOH face.

• Saw a lady with a very big and prominent black mole on her forehead. She approached me in the airport while i was on duty, asking me to check the arrival time of a plane. I tried my very best not to move my eyes to her forehead. BUT I JUST COULDNT!!! imagine a 10-cent coin mole with hairsss sticking out. my god... it just look like some kind of spider (or issit a rambutan?). oh!!! i feel bad typing tis sentence...

• An angmoh lady came to my counter with a male companion. While the man was asking some question, the lady was all the while scratching her armpit... goodness... the man spent about 5min asking, the lady spent the EXACT timing to..... u know....

Results yr2 06

My result is out for my FMA CA. It is li shi xin di ( lowest in all my results --- so far--- :X i have to type "so far"... but i dun want my grades to drop any further. ) Ms Tan said i can do better . Yar, of course i want to do better man!!! My accounting grades had always been A. But now drop so badly... even though din fail, not the lowest score in class, but still v sad. I can still remember during my secondary school days, i would be v v v v happy, but now, in SP,scoring a score like tad is, to me, quite disasterous. Jiamin, pull up your socks, shoes, silppers,pants... aiyah.. wadever....


I think my grades for this term will be horrible... Lets pray hard...


This 2 mails really came at the wrong moment... Mr Tan sent me these mails, asking me to join the Microsoft competition thingy cuz i had an A for ITAB. Next, another mail, asking the top 20% in i duno SB or SP to join wadever research programme.... These 2 emails hit me v hard... With my results for this acad year to be so bad... join wad shit!!! See my results and see if u still want me in ur research or not lah....


Had to go help out in the meet the parent session later (okay... it is sai gang,no polo tee given, no $, need to wear lanyard, given onli CCA pts) Doing ushering and maybe guided tours. dun undrstand why parents still want to came and kpo... they should know their children are adults liao... they should learn to let go, not control everything. Or maybe they are there cuz tutors need to meet them cuz their children did really badly in their grades. So they had no choice but to come............................


Bless to me n my grades, the parents and those children (i mean spoilt babies... will they kana canning?)
