Did imf duty @ departure hall today. New location, new environment. Felt insecure at first. But it turns out that today was the most achievement-oriented day. Escort a korean ah pek (most prob a wealthly biz man-- from the way he dressed and from the point in time when he told me about his secretary) from t2, to t1 via skytrain as he told me he was taking ANA flight. Checked the screen, but cld not find his flight no, so checked with the info counter and realised his flight was a code sharing flight with SIA. so back to t2 again. he told me how he had left his ticket in the hotel and how his back ached due to all the walking. although he had to walk quite a distance, he was still gentle. he din even complain. Gd old man. although my legs wanted to give way from all the walking, i still had to be professional and smile. i am again, proud of myself.

Then a man from bangalore(1st time travelling) came to check in too early, thought the airline could provide accomodation. but canut. his flight is 02oo+ the next day. so he can onli check in @ 2300. He thought he had caused a lot of trouble for me, so he apologised. i can onli reply tad it was ok. He wanted to take a cab to look for his uncle since he had a long time to burn.he took out a really crumpled name card. he asked if i culd help him relate his destination to the taxi driver.he did not have any sing $. so had to change. he took out some us$ that culd change S$18. Duno if that was enough to take a cab, i asked the driver. luckily only bout $15 for the trip. Before the man got in, he thanked me by saying that i was so helpful. He even shook my hands. This made me wan to cry.

it is so great to know that someone truely appreciates ur help.

China study Trip VS IMF VS Sleep

Just came back from china, and now will be busy with IMF duty till 23 sep. I am seriously in need of sleep. My plane touched down on 7 sep Fri 2345. on the next day 0800 had to rush to the airport again for the final imf briefing (i slept through the entire briefing. My friends said i opened my mouth big big till can throw in peanuts). Then spent one whole sunday sleeping again. Today, woke up @ 0430 just to catch the 1st train @ 0536 @ lakeside for my duty @ the airport @ 0700. I am so proud of myself cuz i am able to wake up.

1st duty day in the transit is so damn slack. I almost felt that my pay just flew down from the sky straight into my hands cuz i din see/receive any delegates at all. Just serve a few normal pax. Maybe i think that today, 9/11 is not a good date to travel esp for biz purposes.

Hope tad ming tian hui geng hao. Let me slack again!!!!!
