Ok.... i am officially 20.
From next year onwards, i will be forever 20+.
Nthg special happened -
Except, my birthday is on the same day of Singapore's & the world's historical moment - the 1st ever F1 night race held in Singapore. If ever there's a chance that some org is asking for people to send in their contributions to compile them to some ilovesg book, i'll definitely write in:
"I love Singapore cuz i share the same birthday with the first ever F1 night race on 26 sep 08, except that i am 20 years older than F1 @ SG 2008. SG made it happened within 10mths, unlike other angmoh countries who might only complete the setup using 2 years. Wah seh!!! dun pray pray... and hey yo angmohsss, SG is NOT a city in China... ok??? And our milk is... ok... SG doesnt produce milk. Oh yar, the conclusion is, i love singapore"

A change of mind
Will be attending my cousin's wedding later in the evening. I overheard my mum saying to the aunties that after this, they will have to wait for many many years to attend the next wedding ceremony. It will be the 1980sss babies' turn. Then they tease one another saying its cousin 1, cousin 2 who will be the first to get married....
Btw, cousin 1's bout 25, cousin 2's 21.... (both guys). (i have 6 cousins about 20+++ age. but they only chose 2 to be the first to get married...)
I cant help but think that upon reaching the age of 20, you arrived at a crossroad. when you are young, you tell your parents (or worst, your parents found out) you have a boyfriend/girlfriend. They gave you HELL A BIG TIME with some FREAKING OUT, saying studying is the most important. No BGR relationships.
Then when you reach 20++, they changed their storage of vocab words to "WEDDING", "okto BOYFRIEND / okto GIRLFRIEND" and statements like " to procreate is human nature"
WAD A CHANGE........
and some even went to hong lim park to matchmake. if i am 34, and no man wants me, i wouldnt mind my parents going to matchmake for me. but i would definitely 翻脸 , 六亲不认 if they allow the reporters to interview them and show their faces to everyone on national tv. Then my friends, my neighbours, my....... will know i am a SUA. (Single, Ugly, Available)
i pity those children whose parents' faces were shown on tv. Those parents were smiling such BIG smile, you know!!!!!!
I still have 14years before i am 34.... (still got hope right?)

Dino talk
@ work on wed, all of us sat tgr during lunch. Allan saw xiaoming w/o a seat, so he stood up and offered his seat. Their convo below:
Allan: kong rong rang li. kong rong arh. like dinosaur.
Xiaoming: then rang li is wad animal???
(All the ppl at the bench burst into laughter)
Allan: "li" = pear. "rang li" means give the pear up to another person.
Xiaoming: i tot is animal mah. cuz u said dinosaur.
Mr teo: bo tak chek arh. 孔, not equals 恐. is 孔子' s 孔
Really lah. i think xiaoming really dun have the time to bother about other things.
Her life only revolves around Mr hohoho, her work and her children.
