CYA Appreciation Ceremony

Fri 220607

went to the airport for CYA Appreciation with a bad, sian 1/2 mood.had to sit in alphabetical order.nearby where i was sitting were wenbin and tiancai, my IMF kakis.i was feeling bad, so i sat there quietly. until wenbin turned to tiancai and said,"很久没有看到 jiamin了 hor，不懂她怎样了。then tiancai was like yarlor... then i turned and smiled to them and started chatting

all of us near him were forced to clap loudly when kelly went on stage to receive her cert, when he shouted" OOI! clap leh!".so glad he broke the ice, if not, i would have missed all that
laughing.

then marcus made a speech on stage. i ald labelled him as joker after singing 　千里之外　in the transit area during IMF. so when he was so serious on stage, i canut tahan, and i TRIED REALLY hard not to laugh,but i just couldnt,so i giggled silently - twice, during rehearsal and the actual event. i know i am bad. so long nvr see them and yet they still ask"where's your brother? tad jiaw...why nvr come?" from fri cya to imf, to this ceremony... and they still say. wads funi was when i saw marcus eating alone during buffet.

jm: why you eating alone?
m: 不知道为什么我的朋友都离我而去。
jm: 一定是你讲的 speech 不好听吗！
m: (give tad stunned face) OOI!!!

@ buffet, i laugh @ the all time joker ben - the way he ate blackies and whities. with ben, jason and scor around, i couldnt stop laughing.

chatted with peili, which made me feel better.

then met linda,charis @ tm.bought a top. so feel a bit happier.

Really thanked these people for making me laugh. although it may be the last time i see some of these ppl, but they are all part of my good memories :)

how i slack my day away

went to school to meet my ppl. then went to mac to eat, chat and slack. went home, bath. sat near the balcony, enjoying the breeze while chatting with my mum and bro. we were practically making silly remarks at smt serious - my bro's holiday assignment.

then there's a small voice which i assume it belonged to my angel: "jiamin, mst is next mon. go study! dun waste time."
then a devil's voice: "heck it! ur so tired from sch, have a rest 1st."
i struggle a bit.
then i walked to my room, open my notes, hold my pencil, read the first slide,"its chicken feet" then 2nd slide....then i slept infront of my table.
i only woke up when i receive a msg
i practically did what both my angel and devil told me to do - i study, i rest
ok.... i guess my little devil is still celebrating his triumph over the angel.
most importantly, my pencil was still pointing to slide 2 when i woke up to see the msg on my phone.

Rainbow

it rained yesterday morning. i saw a rainbow!

It covered the entire horizon - as far as i can see. it felt really good to see a rainbow early in the morning. it makes ppl feel hopeful and happy. i shot it with my cam to capture it forever.

Love this pic the most. it seems like the rainbow is showering its colours on the flats.

There is this saying that goes if you dig in the ground where one end of the rainbow is, you will find a pot of gold. i wonder if there is a pot of gold in that block.

we seldom see rainbow. that is why we treasure it when it appears, although its a simple scientific logic as to why it appears. for things that is always around us, we take them for granted. just like the sun. we always blame the sun for the hot and humid weather. but without the sun, we will not be able to see the beautiful rainbow. are we taking the people around us for granted?

my worries

3 down, 1 more to go... left with TLE proj, which i have no idea how to start. my laptop has been working hard this weekend. my determination has been growing strong...hope i will figure out what to do soon.

have decided to include bird park as my top 3 choices. guess my chance of attatching there will be quite high since i think birdpark is not a v hot choice. dealing with birds are better than dealing with humans. Stop dreaming jiamin... in the end u will also be going to deal with humans... but I hope can find　神雕　 there...
emm... if I work in zoo, can find 白马　－－　王子。。。
work in sentosa can find　沙滩阳光男孩。。。not bad, not bad.

hotel is still my most preferred choice.i have always wanted to work in a hotel... 就听天由命吧！

i dun worry as much as to which intern company i will be posted to. but i do worry if i am able to juggle both work and studies...is it too early to worry now?

play pretend with chic wee @ cem.“ 那么爱演，不会参加才华？！”was the only statement i can say. knew he wanted to pretend to be dir. was really amused by his lanyard and the way he faked the accent. was trying hard not to laugh. after the whole session, he thanked me for trying not to laugh out. hahaha...

a table upset the entire family. i even shouted @ my aunt. when everything came to an end, she thanked me for stopping her. glad that everything came to an end. glad that i helped in some ways.

lion's flag day @ clementi. met many nice people. felt my can was quite heavy. proud of my performance.
saw.talked.虽然只是几句话，但已经心满意足了.... =)

took back com.can only say its a major operation. casing of cpu was changed. finally bro can play his game using the com and stop hogging onto my laptop.

had my gems test today. luckily i took effective speaking. dun need to study for it. just go there, take a passage, some reading time given, open my mouth, retell the story to my tutor. tads it! was proud of whatever i did. tad was the easiest test i had ever taken. it was easier compared to pri/sec school oral exam cuz i dun need to think up of politically correct answers. just need to add spices to spice up the story. i just love spices!!!

my happenings

went family dinner @ sakura clementi on vesak day. all my uncles,aunties and cousins went. as i was the only girl there among all the cousins - and youngest, i listened to the guys chat about NS. 1 had finished NS, in the workforce currently. 1 ending his NS soon, 2 going NS tis year. i asked the cousin still in NS if he saw anything that he shouldnt see in NS. he said he guessed he were the lucky few who did not. then he started sharing stories, like the bed will shake if someone hid pork under his bed, the "uncle and xiao mei mei" in tekong, dining area that messed up itself in school 1, sounds of children running from above an office, how the guys will go toilet tgr cuz they are scared to go alone, how bung mates saboed a guy by hidding under his bed and shook the bed to scare him, etc... from NS ghost stories, we shared school ghost stories, both NYP and SP. the cousin who was an ex sp-ian din know about the sp stories, so i shared with them. haha...i simply recycled my stories. they were the same stories i told the campers during the le we ro camp. ok... my stories also 有限公司！

we shared all the food. when someone took a shellfish lookalike kind of thing, one cousin exclaimed " i dun like to eat things that look like organism"... tads kinda funny...

i enjoyed the gathering cuz we seldom meet. usually just once a year during CNY. should have this kind of gathering often...

jm: wait till its longer bah... v dry, scared will make it worse

guy: wow... hair is healthy...

wads his meaning? did he mean my hair is healthy or its good not to do anything chemical to your hair?

i said goodbye to my 披头散发 days. no more thick hair covering my eyes. got rid of my auntie hairstyle.but when qin and wanyi msg to ask me about my hair, i looked @ e mirror. the more i look, the more i think there's not much diff. well, heck.wadever it it, MY HAPPINESS INDEX INCREASED.
