Went to watch pirates with dusha, jo yesterday. facinated by the visuals. love the pebble crabs VS jack sparrow and the part where cartina (issit??? canut remember her name) created the whirlpool with ships firing here and there. shiok! love the part where the different pirates from all over the world gather together, pull their canvas up to unite against the dutchmen. 大家都从不同的地方来，说不同的语言，但都有一样的目标　－－　真好!

went jogging then shopping with qin today. bought a pair of ah mah shoes. had always love this kind of shoes but dared not buy cuz scared of blisters. but i bought that pair just b'cuz chih wee say must wear covered shoes for presentation. I LOVE THE SHOES!!!! so blisters, pls dun come. bought a pair of teddy bear earrings too...yeah!!!! we both have some 收获！

walked past a donut shop with orange box @ marina(shant name it), quite famous. saw the long Q, facinated. dun understand why ppl Q for it. i din eat before, so i am in no position to comment. but these ppl are following the trend blindly. it just like some local bakery selling the once famous chicken floss bun. long Q in the past. now??? reaching the maturity (declining) stage??? you wont see me Q-ing for those donuts in the near future, but i wouldnt mind if ppl would Q for me....

chat, chat, chat

met up with loh yesterday. ate @ jp foodcourt aka kopitiam. we finally found a table and i went to buy my food 1st. when i came back, a granny with her 2 grand daughters shared our table. then loh went to buy food. the little girl shared the bench with loh. when he went to get food, she took up the entire bench. then the granny said"妹！坐进去一点，等一下 uncle 没有位坐 ! "when i heard that, i started laughing to myself. loh is so young, but ppl call him uncle!!!!


when he came back, i said jokingly to the little girl "uncle 回来了！”

then a string of conversation started:


loh: (duno whats going on) 什么？
jm: 刚才 auntie 叫小妹坐进去，要给 uncle 坐
loh: (turned to that little girl): 我是 gor gor leh，不是 uncle
jm: (laugh till stomache)
granny: (looked up and also laugh)


OMG!!! that funny loh!!!!



when we talked about the high staff turnover of his company (i worked part time during my last vacation), i asked him how long he is planning to work there. was surprised by his reply:
"resignation letter 已经 type 好了，就差 date 和 signature." he is now attending a course for his next financial job. from engineering to finance. what a big switch.



it was great chatting with him. he always look on the bright side. whenever i see that thing as tough, will tell me, "can one, can one". although i know its easier said than done, it just feels better to be assured...


saw lionel @ mac. chatted with him.he just graduated from sp. just had his convocation. going NS.... just feels that time passes by too quickly. we were always the 2 left on the train after our CYA days so we always chat bout those 有的没的. now, he had graduated, i am now in my last year. soon, it will be my turn for convocation.


人生匆匆忙忙地过，能和朋友聊起往事，叫人又欣慰又感慨。。。

Gourmet tour

Went on a gourmet tour with my tour guide wanyi as chih wee's lesson was cancelled.get to try the duck noodle @ commonwealth. heard a lot about the stall from wanyi. finally get the chance to try!!! its really nice, esp the duck meat, easy to chew. will definitely bring my family there one day.

then we went to eat the dou hua @ cck. wanyi was like the spokes person for the stall. da bao 2 back home. everyone said is was nice as it was smooth.

thanks a lot to wanyi for the recommendations and also to lend a listening ear to me. felt better after 向你大吐苦水。。。

club matters

sad that keith will be leaving the club. i used to be judge him a lot. but soon, i realised that he is really capable. Matthew VS keith - i support keith more. things will not be this serious if its not due to men's ego. why cant they sit down and talk things out?

i thought i can just leave all club matters alone and go mia. but i realise i cant. club mean a lot to me. the ppl there, how we struggle to put everything together.

一日为 club，终身为 club....
(tads a good way to put it... but “终身”？？? its only an analogy)

does that mean that i will be stressed out when peili said"有你在，我就放心的丢给 club service了"? -_-"

Le We Ro Camp

Le We Ro camp ended on sunday. knew a lot of ppl from leo, welfare and to bond with my own rotaract club members.

Nite walk was held on the first night. sheryl and i were IC of taking care of the campers after their night walk. The starting point was @ FC6. when Andrew told us to walk to FC5, i gave an unsure look. guess i was scared. the carpark was really dark. Andrew then provided us with a lightstick each. as mine was red, i felt i was carrying some kind of bloody thingy. He was so nice to tell us weihan was hiding somewhere in between pillars. so when the 2 of us walked down to FC5, i repeated the same sentence"weihan, jiamin here.. i am going to FC5... pls dun scare us hor..." Then sheryl and i heard a "chuk" sound made from the lips. i asked"weihan?" then "chuk" again. I confirmed it was him and said thanks for signaling and not scaring us. we relied on the light sticks we had and those on the ground to FC5. The experience was quite horrifying.

The campers had to wait for all the pairs to complete the walk. sheryl received a msg to ask us to entertain the campers. so after thinking hard, i told them some ghost stories. Told them about why there issnt T13 in sp. told them why a FOC night walk had to be cancelled as a girl saw something she shouldnt see. told them the yuan ching sec story that FHS' Mr Lee SC told. As majority of the campers were guys, able to hold onto their attention was great. that was the power of ghost stories. i dont know if i had told these stories well, but looking @ their expressions and it was about 3am, it was indeed a hair raising experience.


Slept at 4+ after the night walk. was really tired. i fell asleep while looking after the belongings of the members while they took their bath.

prog for 2nd day were games and more games. little kids came and played with the huge, sp da ge ge campers. these little kids and da ge ges really bonded after a soccer session. what was touching was the part where little boys get to choose their big ge ge partner for games. can see a lot of potential good daddies. was really touched when these big and small boys sit down to have lunch together. some big ge ges were kind enough to buy ice creams for their little boys. but some FORCED their ge ges to buy... hahah...

enjoyed playing captains ball. Comm VS campers. havent been playing captains since sec. was hit on my face. luckily din disfigure myself.hahaha

Din stay for the 2nd nite. and i was labelled "betrayer" by hadi.

3rd day -- amazing race. gald they din cancelled it. tads the highlight of the entire camp. was stationed @ fort canning. teamed up with erna and hadi. hadi, a camping pro taught us a lot of camp songs. They reminded me of sec 3 camp -- so fun! some teams showed team spirit, while there were others -- shag. too tired, i guess.

everything was great. but i was disappointed that there was no debrief after amazing was over.

post kbox day

I was really v v v tired in school today. felt as if there was dark clouds on my head while dragging my heavy feet to school. too high the previous night singing k, and declaring my love for 汪东城 against dusha's 吴尊. so seriously lack of sleep. nearly dozed of during tutorial, lectures and while on the bus home. had to force my heavy eyes to open all the time... the only time i felt energetic was when Dusha msg me about alvin ng. she said she saw him -- ON A MAGAZINE COVER... omg dusha... tad is so lame can? i wanted to reply, but was too tired, din have the motivation to msg... but to dusha: thanks for waking me up...for a while...


not only was i tired. i was suay too. my slippers snapped while i was on my way to the last lecture of the day.chanted "shit! shit!.."all the way to LT. had to depend on my survival instinct --to look for rubber bands on the floor to slip onto my spoilt slippers so i could still wear them home. well, you can also say i was rather lucky cuz managed to find 2 rubber bands on my way to the LT. luckily bought a pair of new silp-ons during the hols. if not i will not have any shoes to wear to school tmr. so its time to go stock up another pair of spare shoes.

Angela VS Dusha

I will forgo angela chang's concert to celebrate dusha'a bdae. bdae comes only once a year. so STAND ASIDE SINGER!


till now, i still dont know why did i go queue up for the tickets in the first place. jiamin dumb dumb... even sacrificing lunch. and to be at the incompetent student union's disposal. but i wun mind queuing up for 五月天 or SHE's tickets. JIAMIN!!! YOU DREAM!!! CONTINUE DREAMING!!!

i am a sinner

i admit i am a sinner. i had eaten a slice of chocolate cake - so full of chocolate. how much intake of calories? how much fat to burn? i just love eating chocolate... i am a sinner, am i not?
