chat, chat, chat

met up with loh yesterday. ate @ jp foodcourt aka kopitiam. we finally found a table and i went to buy my food 1st. when i came back, a granny with her 2 grand daughters shared our table. then loh went to buy food. the little girl shared the bench with loh. when he went to get food, she took up the entire bench. then the granny said"妹！坐进去一点，等一下 uncle 没有位坐 ! "when i heard that, i started laughing to myself. loh is so young, but ppl call him uncle!!!!


when he came back, i said jokingly to the little girl "uncle 回来了！”

then a string of conversation started:


loh: (duno whats going on) 什么？
jm: 刚才 auntie 叫小妹坐进去，要给 uncle 坐
loh: (turned to that little girl): 我是 gor gor leh，不是 uncle
jm: (laugh till stomache)
granny: (looked up and also laugh)


OMG!!! that funny loh!!!!



when we talked about the high staff turnover of his company (i worked part time during my last vacation), i asked him how long he is planning to work there. was surprised by his reply:
"resignation letter 已经 type 好了，就差 date 和 signature." he is now attending a course for his next financial job. from engineering to finance. what a big switch.



it was great chatting with him. he always look on the bright side. whenever i see that thing as tough, will tell me, "can one, can one". although i know its easier said than done, it just feels better to be assured...


saw lionel @ mac. chatted with him.he just graduated from sp. just had his convocation. going NS.... just feels that time passes by too quickly. we were always the 2 left on the train after our CYA days so we always chat bout those 有的没的. now, he had graduated, i am now in my last year. soon, it will be my turn for convocation.


人生匆匆忙忙地过，能和朋友聊起往事，叫人又欣慰又感慨。。。
