cd = 照妖镜

had a nice chat with loh today.asked him why all the tables hang a cd with the shiny side up. this is our conversation:

jm: 为什么每张桌子都挂 cd 的？
loh + jm: 照妖镜。。。　哈哈！！！！
(loh immediately put his face in front of the mirror to 耍帅，started combing his hair)
jm: (pointed to the mirror and him repeatedly) 照妖镜。。。　那你是妖怪 lah!!!!
loh: OOI!!!!!
loh: 这样才看得到从后面来的人. 做什么事就可以 minimise mah!
jm: 为什么那些 tables 就没有呢？
loh: orh... 那些是　QA managemet　的。。。　他们已经是妖怪了所以不用。。。


then my HR mgr joe asked me to do something which aihui said was 为难-ing me... so i immediately shouted to loh, asked him to give me a 照妖镜。(i want to 照 my HR mgr). he quickly ran to me and hang it on my table. YES!!! i joined the trend of having a 照妖镜　infront of my table. but too bad the 照妖镜 sponsored by loh is not too clear to see any 妖魔鬼怪 coming from behind me. still have to 靠 my EQ,IQ and acute hearing.................................

是我自己想太多了吗？为什么会有那种感觉呢？

realised too much today... heard too much... being too individualistic wont bring one far. thats what i want to say to the 小心眼someone. i dun bad mouth, i just listened. i know who treats me well and who dont. who is correct and who's not. i may just be a small fry, but i try hard... now i reap what i sow and i am proud of my actions. 我问心无愧。。。　我对得起天地良心。。。

VENTING IN ACTION!!!!

I WANT TO VENT MY ANGER DUE TO WORK... SINCE I CANNOT VENT OUT MY GRIEVANCES @ WORK, THIS BECOMES A PLATFORM!!! MY SPEAKERS' CORNER!!!!


its ok for me to hop to HR since finance had employed a perm. since the finance head had offered my desk, my pc to the new perm, so i assume i would say bye bye to all values, figures, numbers, invoices bank statements, bank reconciliation statements etc... but what the hell, still ask me to update the daily sales figures, print shipping reports. HELLO~~!!!! I AM ALREADY WITH HR... WHY U STILL THROW ME UR STUPID FINANCE THINGS???? DUN U HAVE EYES TO SEE I AM ALREADY BUSY SORTING OUT WORKERS' INCOME TAX FORMS AND WORKERS' INFORMATION??? THEY HAVE TO BE DISTRIBUTED OUT SOON OK??? WHY AM I STILL IC OF GOING DOWN TO WITNESS AND TO CALCULATE THE SCRAP MATERIALS THAT THE COMPANY WILL BE SELLING TO THE RECYCLING COMPANY? WHY DIN YOU ASK UR PERM TO DO? WHY DO U INSIST I GO EVEN THOUGH I HAD STRESSED THAT MY HR STUFF IS MORE IMPORTANT? WHY DIN YOU ASK YOUR PERM TO DO? WHY IS SHE THERE FOR? FOR SHOW??? WHY MY HR MANAGER HAD TO BE @ THE DISPOSAL OF THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT?


how i showed "face" to the finance dept which go against my principles:


eg1: ml: jm, can u zap these copies andpass them to me later? (put the stack on my desk)
jm:ok (walked over to the other end to do HR work... assume HR is more impt)
ml: (after sometime -- walked quickly to me... frowned) i already zap them!
jm: ok.........(i din any bit felt i was in the wrong)


eg2: jm: (busily sorting income tax forms)
ca: sorry, jm 你在忙吗?
jm: (forced a smile) 你自己看lor我哪里可能不会忙。。。
ca: 不好意思，我老板叫你做这些，要寄出去的。。。
jm:你 by 几时要？
ca: 随便 lor ，明天也可以
jm: haha...(sacastically)明天星期六 leh，明天。。。


eg3: ml: can u scan all these into i-drive and change their names accordingly as stated in the list?
jm: er... (eyes slowly shifted to the clock nearby -- 5.20+pm, 10min to knock off time)
ml: oh! u can do them tmr...


i am totally convinced that accounting / finance is not my cup of tea, although i did quite well for these as modules. and i shall not go to the extreme since i think the ppl in my company are not bad as a whole. i shant sterotype....

FHS homecoming really brought back lots of precious memories. i actually thought FHS to me is something of the past. but homecoming proved me wrong...


sang the school song again. some words were forgotten, but it still is so dear to me. tears welled up when Mr go gave his speech. reminded me of the parade square days. to be able to see mr ong and to take photos with him made my trip worth it. taking pics of the classroom which i spent my time in even during recess, smuggling in da baos and lor mai gais, having the 3rd world war, birth of a tiger,a panda, a zoo keeper etc... it is obvious that the classroom is not in use anymore due to the untidy chairs and tables.


meeting teachers, 2e-ians, 4b-ians, principal.... FHS is still important to me...
some 遗憾s were not able to see ms mona cheong and 张老师。
