Day 1 of Bridging econs

Went to Ting's econs bridging. He was already there at the lecture hall when i walked in. and it was 15mins before lecture started. first reaction when i saw Ting: "was he sleeping?" cant see his eyes even though i wore specs. ok... maybe degree increase...


Then Ting started setting up the visualiser. Ben cho, my favourite and the handsome sp lecturer came to my mind. Ben cho loved to use visualiser too. Then slowly, Ting's depressed face slowly appeared while ben chou's face disappeared. jm.... time to wake up. stop day dreaming.


Was quite fed up with the 360 degree chair. lecturer said can turn to discuss. but i tried but chair will auto turn back? or issit i sotong duno how to function the chair? am glad i am thin enough to sit on chair. duno how the larger size people can fit in.


Ting started the 1st page PPF. was thinking it was chicken feet. poly learn before. then came 2nd page. ok, manageable with little recalling of poly work. then 3rd page, some recalling work with a bit doubts here and there but manage to figure it out. then 4th page, i went damit! wad the hell's that??? listened hard, understood eventually. I canut imagine how my reaction will be at page 10...


Ting has a good sense of humour. he dun even laugh at his own jokes. maybe he recycle them? but he sure's funny. he said when he set the passing grade @ 50, more then 1/2 the class fail. Lowered to 40, many more pass. then 34, he finally see some daylight.


When he was explaining the concept of substitution, he used pepsi VS coke VS cooking oil. When price of Pepsi increase, people turn to buy coke.
Ting said," you'll buy more coke instead right?you wont go and buy and drink more cooking oil right? Coke and cooking oil taste quite different huh?"
At this point of time, the whole lecture hall was roaring with laughter. Ting just sat at his place flaunting his smile.
