Some interesting people and facts gathered from my training in the airport:

  • A woman was sleeping on many Singapore maps @ T2 McDonalds. Maps were opened up and put on the chair and table she was sleeping on. Wonder why she used Singapore maps instead of other free brochures that were available on. Was she scared that her clothes would be dirtied by sitting on the Mac's chair?
  • Chicken = check-in (pronounced by some passengers with slangs & accents )
  • Bur-King in not booking, but BurgerKing
  • Parents Room provides only L-size pampers
  • A chocloate shop sells bakua ( this surprised 2 of my team members as they thought a man will be standing behind the counter with a fan while BBQing pork.HAHA)
  • Ah Belle, my team member, purposely went to open the door of the smoking room and came back coughing
  • We were on the travellator when a young Angmoh girl ran pass. Zi Rong, our leader was the only one who noticed she had big boobs. The rest of us only noticed her face.
  • The job of the pilot is the easiest when compared to the rest of the staff on a plane. He only need to be in charge during flying and landing. The rest will be on auto-pilot mode
  • Showering in the transit hotel need @ least S$8.

Training @ the Airport

Official training @ changi airport begins tmr continuously for 3 days. Was flipping through the cya training booklet when i got a shock of my life. There was a page full of airline codes... & i was told we have to remember them. I only know SQ & MI. And who will know the code for Jetstar Asia is 3K? Why can't it be JS or JT*? wonder who came up with all these codes. Have to travel across Singapore tmr from west to Changi. An hour's journey. I have Lijia to accompany me. but i think that i will be sleeping on the train. Luckily we do not need to wear our uniform tmr cuz i dun want ppl to complain that it is a disgrace seeing cya ppl sleeping in the train like no body's business.

Im v uncertain what we will be doing during the training session. But one thing im certain is that i will not be touching this com for 3 whole days cuz the training & the travelling will make me v v v v v v v tired.

-_- ZzzzzZZZz

My saviour

I had intended to go to an interview for a sales executive position alone today. I had made up my mind to go alone today cuz it seemed like everyone's busy, going out or busy studying. So when i had gave up asking ppl to accompany me, i received a msg from my primary sch-cum-SP friend Candy. She was v sian and asked me if i wanted to go out walk walk. I saw light!!! Finally someone can go to the interview with me! We chatted for a while on phone when i suddenly asked her if she knew how to get to Lao Pa Sat. Opposite Lao Pa Sat will be the place where my interview would take place ie Robinson Pt. She then immediately asked me if i was going to level 10 of that building. Was so shocked, how she knew? She told me her sis went there for an interview too. The whole interview took bout 3hrs. Guess what that item we would be selling? I was told i would be promoting a new brand of mineral water. But Candy told me that the company wants ppl to help them promote those water purification equipment. It costs $1822/unit **FAINTS**

i MET MY SAVIOUR!!! CANDY SAVED ME!!! That jerk Thomas aka the one who contacted me bluffed me.... wad mineral water? bull shit!!!

I had decided to forgo this whole interview and decided to go shop shop with candy instead. At bout 2++ , I received a call. I ask who he was cuz it was a private number and when he told me he was Thomas, I immediately end that call. I did this so abruptly that candy thought reception was weak. Then both of us burst out laughing. That jerk Thomas even msg me before he called me. This is wad he wrote" U coming at 3 rite?". I wanted to be bad, i din want to reply. But my saviour candy persuaded me to reply. This is wad i wrote" sorry, i had found a job ald. so i am not coming" With this few words, that jerk must be swearing n cursing me.
I DUN CARE MAN!!!!

Jerk aside, i enjoyed myself today with my saviour...
I seemed that everything was providence at work...
u won't believe it until it happen on you.

Starz @ SP

Went to watch Starz @ SP on 3Feb(Fri), a concert featuring stars from SP eg Kelly, Chanel,Sliver,Yvonne Lim( aka Lin Xiang Ping) and some whom i don't know. Went with the F4 (jielong, ben, jason, koon cai) and it was some experience. These crazy guys really do know how to crack jokes out of everything. one significant one was that kelly was asking us to support(buy) her CD on valentine's day, after singing her song "ai wu li". Immediately, jielong said "yes, i will surely support you. I'll go dl your song.
There was a salsa dance by our own students. Then suddenly, i'm sitting with 4wolves...just that they did not let their saliva drip out. Then i realised that i was trying to sit further away from them as i was leaning away from them...
These guys surely know how to enjoy their life

GEM

Why do things have the same initials? In school, we have to take up modules call General Elective Modules (GEMs)... which i think it adds up our heavy work load. CYA has the same GEM initial for Going the Extra Mile (GEM). This activity is always showing on tv. The advertisements are like "good service begins with you" or something like that.

GEMS... this name is music to our ears... It is like some precious jewelleries... but behind GEMS is hard hard work
