new specs soon

Went to make a new specs just now. I was determine not to get a pink frame cuz many ppl say i look like a teacher when i wear my old specs i kinda look a bit pale wif pink frames.


When i reached that shop, the optician there was busy wif 2 customers,an auntie and his son (gosh...the little boy is in kindergarten cuz wearing the blue PAP uniform. so young, and need to wear specs liao... like my father said, im real lucky to only start wearing my specs in sec 4. my response??? I replied that this meant that i really studied a lot for my Olevels... ok... nvr mind)


Since the guy was busy, he asked me to choose wad kind of frame i want. so i choose lor. But to me, all the frames look kind of similar only of different colours. So wif the colour pink off my mind, i went straight for the black or dark blue ones ( i want to try a different style-- the panda style!!!). Tried a lot, but they all look wierd on my face. I already think my face sucks. With all these specs, i think i look suckier.


When the optician finally came to me, he said in chinese," come xiao mei (little girl), i intoduce some specs that are suitable for u." Then turned to the rack behind the counter( wad the hell... first he called me xiao mei( he looks just a few years older than me), now he go one big round to tell me indirectly that i had wasted all my time just now trying out all the specs that are NOT suitable for me.


But i enjoyed this trip cuz its the first time i had to sit infront of a machine that looks like a binoculars and in the lense i saw 2 colourful ducks swimming ( i think the animation is to lure little kids to sit infront of the machine so that the optician can trace the degree. ( oh no... i enjoyed it ,so that means im still a kid, so slapped with the "xiao mei" title is no joke)


Then was told to wear a bookworm-look-alike-specs for the correct lenses. First time had to compare the sharpness between the red and green board. A real eye opener!!! So when everythings fine, the optician asked me to look outside to test the sharpness and the comfort level of the frame... only to meet eye-to-eye with a malay couple who happened to walk past the shop. They gave me the facial expression like they had just saw an alien (OMG! They must be shocked by my bookworm face)


I did not need to do all these with my previous opticial shop. Thats why i tend to feel a little giddy when i wore my previous specs. And the previous shop looks more classy than this one somemore. I swear i will nvr go to the previous opticial shop ( looks can bluff )

toursim toursim here i come

Went to the SP intranet to KPO yesterday... see if there is anything new sent to me. Then i went to the SAS to explore... When i pressed the academic tab, to my surprise, saw initials "TM". Duno what it meant at first. So go MSN ask if anyone knew. Then KC told me thats our option for yr2. So that means i'm in tourism management!!! yesh!!! im in my first choice!!! so excited cuz i heard that there are only 3 tourism classes and this course is real hot due to the up and coming IRs. My hard work paid off!!!


So from mid April, my life will be surrounded by all tourism related stuff ( my year2 course and my CYA duties ) hope i wont develop any tourism related phobias.

damn it walkman

SHIT SHIT SHIT !!! ARH ARH ARH!!! WHY MUST TIS HAPPEN TO ME? I THOUGHT I HAD HOPE BUT IT WAS A DISASTER !!!!
My walkman (my very precious) has long been spoilt since that very day i bought JJ's yi qian nian yi hou CD (ok... i admit its not e Singapore's version. Gahmen, don't charge me cuz at least i'm honest, i admitted myself...)
I was so Eng (free), so i took it out to try my luck. See if it still functioning. I took out mayday's zhi zhu ( 2nd CD which consists of i-think-should-be-hokkien songs). To my surprise, my percious walkman works!!! No words could describe how i felt at that time. It was like a miracle!!!! Then i took out my long time no listen SHE's bu xiang zhang da (This time is the official version... real one). I pressed the play button with excitement cuz finally can listen to my fav CD using my precious walkman le.
Then... SKY OVERCAST... THUNDER ROARED... THE WORDS "NO CD" SLAMED INFRONT OF MY EYES... i don't believe it... how come?
I din give up. Tried the mayday CD again. It played. I tried the other CDs i have including the FHS_CO_ CD... It din work!!!!
TO CONCLUDE, MY WALKMAN IS STILL SPOILT BUT DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY IT CAN ONLY PLAY MAYDAY'S HOKKIEN SONGS



MY CONCLUSION

• Maybe its time to start learning hokkien
• I think my walkman hated me for buying CDs that are un-Singapore-rily produced versions. So it went on a strike.

Come back to me my precious metallic blue walkman!!!!! WO HAO XIANG NIAN NI ARH!!!

challenging

Thought sat's stand-in duty will suck. but it turns out to be v interesting and challenging. Sat's senior rover is JW. He is infamous for being strict. But no choice, i had to stand-in for joyce. so dragged my feet to duty. [guo mei mei's bu pa bu pa song kept on repeating in my head: not as if JW's a cockroach]. Im just scared n worried.

but turns out JW's quite relaxed and friendly. He told us a lot about his expectations. i wanted to tell him "hello~~im only a stand-in, but due to respect, i listened to his speech. I nvr tell him im only a stand-in till he asked if we are all permanent Sat CYAs.

One thing i really blew me off was that tested( his so called challenge) me to locate the nearest lift to the movie lounge. I took the escalator up to the lounge in lvl 3, found the lift and took it down to the transit lvl again. from there, i located the landmark of the lift and REPORTED my findings to him. heheeee.... He praised me...

i really learnt a lot from him. woah... such a challenging man! i like!

duty

2 consecutive days standing in the airport transit. Legs and shoulders now aching like hell. maybe after watching tourists and handsome angmohs walking past me carrying luggages but i cannot follow, i am so desperate that i fell sick. Sick-of-not-going-on-a-holiday syndrome. so down with a flu!!!! ARH!!!

went for my duties on Friday and Saturday, tiok flu. So sleep away almost the whole my Sunday away. Shitty blocked nose and ears. I am so blur already. This flu makes me like an idiot. Need more time to process what others say cuz my ears and brain are not functioning well.

I NEED PESTICIDES TO KILL THESE IDIOTIC FLU BUGS

Results Out

EXAM RESULTS WILL BE OUT ON 22 MARCH @ 8.30AM.

Armed with my gardening tools, i will be digging a large hole starting from today while waiting for that day to come.
2 options on the usage of the hole on that day:

1. Upon receiving my results, Grief-stricken.Hell. The hole will be used to bury myself. Out of this world. Out of all complications. Quietly disappearing. MIA
2. Upon receiving my results, Stairways to heaven. The hole will be used to bury all my textbooks. All my sickening tutorials and notes. Far away from my memories. LET IT DECOMPOSE...
